Biosolids and Wastewater Introduction
ASI has been affiliated with Dr. Aaron Margolin and the Department of Microbiology,
University of New Hampshire (UNH) since 1990. Dr. Margolin is respected as a leading
expert on biosolids and wastewater issues. In addition to his active participation in an
EPA sponsored review of biosolids testing procedures, Dr. Margolin routinely serves as an
expert witness for legal proceedings, scientific advisory groups and regulators. He also
directs ASI’s affiliated laboratory at UNH where biosolids, wastewater, virus, 503
regulation and molecular work is performed. We have analyzed more than 1,100 wastewater
and sludge samples for enteric viruses. ASI has developed a reputation for providing high
quality data in a cost effective and professional manner.
The UNH/ASI collaborative arrangement has led to the development of methodologies for
improved testing and research. We are committed to applying science which leads to the
sustainability of practices in the best interests of public health. |
