CDC releases a toolkit to help development of Legionella Water Management Programs

On 07 Jun 2016, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a toolkit “Developing a Water Management Program to Reduce Legionella Growth and Spread in Buildings: A Practical Guide to Implementing Industry Standards.”

The toolkit, which provides a checklist to help managers determine whether such a water management program is needed in their facility, is based on ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188-2015, Legionellosis: Risk Management for Building Water Systems (June 2015).
